According to Atresmedia estimates, the TV ad market decreased by 0.4 per cent in the first nine months of 2017. Despite this, the company's revenues increased by 2.0 per cent to €755.1 million (January to September 2016: €740.2 million), while EBITDA was down by 1.9 per cent to €148.6 million (January to September 2016: €151.4 million). Atresmedia's net profit for the reporting period was €103.5 million, up 1.9 per cent year-on-year (January to September 2016: €101.5 million).

Atresmedia recorded a total TV advertising share of 42.4 per cent in the period (January to September 2016: 42.6 per cent). In the reporting period, the Atresmedia family of channels achieved a combined audience share of 28.4 per cent in target group of viewers aged 25 to 59. The flagship channel Antena 3 achieved an average prime-time audience share of 14.3 per cent in the target group for the January to September 2017 period, while La Sexta reported an average prime-time audience share of 7.4 per cent in the same demographic.
