During the first three months of the 2018 financial year, Groupe M6 reported consolidated revenue of €359.2 million, an increase of 11.0 per cent in comparison with the first quarter of 2017 (Q1/2017: €323.7 million). The group's advertising revenue grew significantly by 20.0 per cent to €252.2 million, reflecting the integration of the radio division, solid free-to-air channel audience figures and buoyant internet audience figures (Q1/2017: €210.2 million).

Consolidated EBITA reached €44.6 million, compared with €47.1 million in the first quarter of 2017, adversely affected by the Football Club Girondins de Bordeaux whose losses increased by €12.8 million as a result of the technical staff being replaced and the transfers of players not taking place, with these expected to be completed over the second half of the year.

The Groupe M6 Combined General Meeting held on 19 April 2018 appointed three new members:

  • Bert Habets, CEO of RTL Group, to replace Guillaume de Posch, who has resigned;
  • Marie Cheval, Executive Director Customers, Services and Digital Transformation of Carrefour Group, as an independent member and to replace Delphine Arnault; and
  • Nicolas Houzé, CEO of Galeries Lafayette and BHV Marais, as an independent member and to replace Guy de Panafieu;
