This rig count includes U.S. onshore, U.S. inland waters, and U.S. offshore Gulf of Mexico drilling rigs.
- June U.S. land rig count: 1,120, up 9 (+1%) from the previous month and up 111 (+11%) from June 2017
- June U.S. inland waters and Gulf of Mexico rig count: 43, down 10 (-19%) from the previous month and down 3 (-7%) from June 2017
