/Praha, June 16, 2012/ This year's twentieth traditional and popular celebration of Velkopopovický Kozel was crowned by a record number of visitors as well as a record-long barbeque grill. The Day of Kozel attracted more than 18,000 people this year. Velkopopovický Kozel 11° and honey Kozel Special, brewed especially for the occasion by Velké Popovice brew-masters, were the most popular brews. The visitors consumed more than 150 hectolitres of Velké Popovice beer served from 76 taps so the visitors could enjoy the beer without any delays. Two thousand guests saw the newly expanded visitor tour of the brewery during the day of the celebration. Moreover, visitors of the Day of Kozel witnessed the birth of a new Czech record; in the spirit of celebration of the art of blacksmiths, the longest grill in the country was baptised and entered into the Czech Book of Records on that day.
