Sacyr boosts its Human Resources management

Sacyr's Board of Directors, on the motion of its Chairman, Manuel Manrique, has approved the incorporation of Elena Dinesen Villacieros as Sacyr's new General Manager of Talent and Human Resources and member of the Executive Committee to strengthen the company's senior management team.

Elena Dinesen Villacieros' key functions will be to enhance executive talent and manage the group's human resources policies within the global objective of consolidating the group's multinational structure

Elena Dinesen Villacieros has been Microsoft's Human Resources and Organization Manager in Latin America and HR Manager for Microsoft Spain/Western Europe. She had previously held positions of responsibility in human resources management at Cable & Wireless, Airtel/Vodafone, among other companies, and has been a member of the Advisory Council at IESE and ESADE, the Sagardoy Legal Office and Chair of the Human Resources Council for the American Chamber of Commerce in Spain.

A graduate in Philosophy and Literature and EDP from IESE (University of Navarre), Elena Dinesen Villacieros boasts a professional track record of over 20 years in Europe and Latin America in human resources management, focusing on corporate development, recruitment and management of talent, career and succession plans, policies on diversity and inclusion, flexibility and life-work balance at major companies within the sectors of telecommunications, consumer goods, consultancy, new technologies and national/public services. During her management career she has received many accolades, including Best Company for Women and Young Graduates (Millennials) in Latin America, Most Innovative Company in HR Pratices and Best Company to Work For, by the Best Place to Work Institute, between 2007 and 2011.
