PRESS RELEASE The industrial subsidiary has projects in the UK, Australia, Peru and Bolivia SACYR INDUSTRIAL ENTERS MEXICO WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF ELECTRICITY INFRASTRUCTURES VALUED AT 16 MILLION DOLLARS Madrid, 21 July 2014.- Sacyr Industrial has entered a new market by way of a contract for two electricity lines and three substations in Monterrey (Mexico) worth 15.75 million dollars.

The contract, awarded by the Federal Electricity Commission (Comisión Federal de la Electricidad) to the consortium comprising Sacyr Industrial and Mondisa, includes construction and installation of two transmission lines of 115 kV and a length of 3.7 km along with three substations of 115 kV and 13.8 kV, with a capacity of 110 MVA and 6.6 MVAr of compensation with a total of 25 feeders (bays).
This project will bolster the electricity infrastructures in Monterrey (in the state of
Nuevo León), thus satisfying the area's new energy demand.
Sacyr Industrial is forging ahead with its growth strategy in worldwide industrial activity where it already operates in countries such as Australia, the UK, Bolivia and Peru, in addition to Spain, through different projects in the sectors of oil & gas, electricity infrastructure, power plants, and waste treatment.
