SACYR INDUSTRIAL TO BUILD A CEMENT PLANT IN BOLIVIA FOR 244 MILLION DOLLARS Madrid, 4 April 2014.- The Empresa Pública Productiva Cementos de Bolivia (ECEBOL) has awarded a contract to an international consortium led by Sacyr Industrial for the design, construction, installation, and commissioning of a cement plant in the Region of Oruro (Bolivia) for a total of 244 million dollars (178 million euros).

The contract includes the greenfield design, supply of machinery, construction, installation, commissioning, training, and intellectual transfer for a cement plant in the Oruro Region. The plant will have a minimum capacity of 3,000 tonnes of clinker per day for the manufacture of IP-30
Portland cement, in accordance with Bolivian Regulations.
The ECEBOL requires cement to be manufactured using the dry process, so that the plant will include the following principal processing units: primary crushing, pre-homogenisation group, vertical rawmix mill, rawmix silo, 5-stage pre-calciner tower, rotating kiln, grate cooler, clinker silo, vertical cement mill, cement silo, and final bagging and palleting of the produced cement.

With this contract, Sacyr Industrial continues to expand its portfolio in Bolivia, and moves forward with its growth strategy in worldwide industrial activity, with operations already in countries such as Australia, the UK, and Peru, in addition to Spain, with different projects in the oil and gas sectors, electricity infrastructure, power plants, and waste treatment. Specifically in Bolivia, Sacyr Industrial is responsible for the execution of the gas collection system (Phase II) in the Caipipendi Area in the Margarita zone (province of Tarija) and two power-generation projects in the Santa Cruz and Cochabamba refineries of Bolivia YPFB Refinación.
This contract also consolidates the Sacyr group's presence in Latin America, where it operates in Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Panama, and Mexico. Sacyr's vast technical and technological expertise has enabled the company to be awarded projects on five continents (in over
20 countries). As a result of this diversification, 53% of the company's future revenues will come from projects in other countries, with this percentage increasing to 81% in regard to the project portfolio.
