SACYR WINS NEW CONTRACTS IN ANGOLA FOR 378 MILLION EUROS Madrid, 20 th March 2014.- Sacyr, by way of its subsidiary Somague, has been awarded various construction contracts in Angola for a total of 378 million euros.

Somague has recently been awarded a contract to construct two new buildings for the National Assembly of Angola worth 98 million euros. The new buildings encompass a construction area of 42,000 m2 and will support the National Assembly, which is nearing completion.
At the Kinaxixi MXD complex in Luanda (Angola), Somague has won a new contract to complete 2 towers of 25 floors along with a shopping mall for
158.2 million euros.
The Kinaxixi MXD Complex project includes the construction of two 25-storey towers, one for residential purposes and one for offices, as well as a shopping mall of 5 above-ground stories and a further 5 below-ground levels for parking and utilities. Somague is already undertaking other construction contracts for this urban complex.
Somague will also be constructing two fuel depots for the company Sonangol: one in Malange for 54.9 million euros and a second in Soyo for 66.4 million euros.
These new contracts will allow Sacyr to strengthen its presence in Angola, where it has a works portfolio worth 550 million euros, as well as continue its strategy for international growth, thanks to which 80% of the group's works portfolio involves contracts outside of Spain.
Sacyr operates in over 20 countries on five continents and, in the case of Africa, conducts its activities by way of its Portuguese subsidiary Somague, which is present in Angola, Cape Verde, Togo and Mozambique.
