COLABORATION

Juan B. Sosa School will be the first public school in Panama to develop Franklin Covey's 'The Leader in Me' methodology.

Through this program, Sacyr has taken a commitment to transforming the Juan B. Sosa School, which is located in Panamá Viejo. This will be the city's first public school to implement culture and leadership practices through a process known as 'The Leader in Me', which was created by Franklin Covey.

'For our Foundation, it is a pleasure to join the 'Mi Escuela Primero' program and to work towards the improvement of education in the communities where Sacyr carries out its work', said Manuel Manrique during his visit to Juan B. Sosa School.

This investment will enable long-term sustainability initiatives for the care of the remodeled school, as well as training in the development of skills including leadership, communication and cooperation for a community of 510 students and 45 collaborators.

The 'Mi Escuela Primero' program involves the participation of the local agents such as town councils, NGOs, the private sector and civic associations, to improve the conditions of the school centers as part of an effort to create a pleasant, healthy, and above all, efficient environment that contributes to the wellbeing of students and teachers alike.

The Sacyr Foundation promotes and provides incentives for collaboration and sponsorship in educational, cultural, sports and environmental projects that provide value for the communities in which the group operates; all within the company's Corporate Responsibility Master Plan.
