Sacyr : Valoriza Servicios a la Dependencia will provide its home assistance service in the provinces of Valladolid and Ávila

Sacyr's subsidiary, Valoriza Servicios a la Dependencia, will implement the home assistance service in the provinces of Valladolid and Ávila for a total amount of 29.7 million euros.

The Ministry of Social Policies and Family of the Region of Madrid has awarded Valoriza the management of 'Nuevo Versalles', the residential and day care center located in Fuenlabrada, for assistance to people with intellectual disabilities for an amount of 8.2 million euros over 3 years. The center can serve up to 125 residents and 40 day-center users, with a workforce of 67 professionals.

Among other services, the center includes personal care, specialized care and maintenance and accommodation.

Valoriza will provide the service in the province of Valladolid for an amount of 17.2 million euros over 3 years, with a possible 3 years' extension. This service, awarded by the Regional Council, will serve around 1,700 users with a workforce of 562 professionals.

Ávila's Regional Government has awarded Valoriza Servicios a la Dependencia the home assistance service in the province for a period of 2 years, which can be extended by 2 more years, for an amount of 12.5 million euros. Valoriza will provide the Home Assistance Service to 1,700 users each month, with a workforce of 400 professionals included in the contract.

The aim of the HAS is to promote the independence and personal autonomy of users, so that they can remain in their own homes as long as possible, while improving their quality of life. To this end, professional and individualized care is provided in terms of prevention, assistance and rehabilitation, which includes personal care tasks (support in personal hygiene, mobility within the home and assistance in eating, among others), domestic care tasks (house cleaning, purchase of food and preparation of meals, basic maintenance of domestic and personal appliances, etc.), and additional specialized services.

The Home Assistance Service is aimed at people over 65 years of age with difficulties in their personal autonomy and support needs, as well as for those with disabilities who might be under 65, or whose dependent status is recognized.

Thanks to these new awards, Valoriza Servicios a la Dependencia strengthens its position as one of the leading companies in the care industry for dependent adults, by providing home assistance services, in the Municipal Councils of Madrid, Barcelona, Albacete, Guadalajara, Santiago de Compostela, Lugo, Ferrol, Ourense, Elche, Segovia and Burgos and in the Provincial Councils of Ávila, Valladolid and Zamora, among others. In addition, Valoriza manages a total of 27 residential care centers in Spain.
