Sacyr : issues a stamp to commemorate the inauguration of the Panama Canal Expansion

As part of the 'Your Stamp' service in collaboration with the Post Office.

Sacyr, the company which has led the construction of the Third Set of Locks of the Panama Canal Expansion, has issued a stamp to commemorate this milestone in Spanish engineering, as part of the 'Your Stamp' service offered by the SPANISH POST OFFICE. The stamp presentation ceremony was attended by the Chairman and CEO of Sacyr, Manuel Manrique Cecilia; the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Development, Mario Garcés Sanagustín; the Chairman of the Post Office, Javier Cuesta Nuin; and the Corporate Director General of Sacyr, Miguel Heras Dolader.

Last June 26 saw the inauguration of the biggest engineering project of the last 100 years, the Panama Canal Expansion, in which Sacyr played an important role by leading the consortium which built the Third Set of Locks. The issue of this commemorative stamp will allow Sacyr to share this important milestone with its clients, shareholders and employees.

'Your Stamp' is a service offered by the SPANISH POST OFFICE which allows institutions, companies and individuals to have customized stamps which they can use for their own mail. In the case of Sacyr, 1000 'A' tariff (national mail) and 'C' tariff (international mail) stamps have been issued.
