Representatives from Saga Furs accompanied eight Finnish fur farmers to the Fur Breeders Agricultural Cooperative's Summer School in Park City, Utah on 8-9 August. The event offered input from agricultural experts, panel discussions and an excellent opportunity for knowledge gathering, as well as a chance for international farmers to share experiences and build networks.

The annual event also delivered promotional value for Saga Furs. The company had its own booth where visitors could chat with staff or pick up some of the ample marketing and PR material that was on hand.

Saga Furs business director of farm services Magnus Ljung delivered a presentation of the company and its operations to the 200 participants who attended Summer School. He also sat on a panel in an open forum discussion.

Head of international marketing, Charlie Ross, addressed the group about the general global market situation and some of the tendencies currently influencing the fur trade.

Saga Furs® Fox Bunny was the star of the show

An extremely pleasing note from the two-day event was the fact that a Saga Furs Bunny fetched USD 1,500 at an auction held for charity. It was the highest price paid for any of the items sold at the auction.
