In the all-important Asian market, Saga Furs has made a strategic move to restructure its regional team, with China in special focus. The members of the Asia team began to address their areas of responsibility from 1 November.

"China, with its rapidly changing fur market, is obviously the most important business area for Saga Furs. We will put this market in sharper focus and bolster our activities there," states Samantha Vesala, business director Asia. "There are a lot of potential opportunities for cooperating with local companies, especially in the fashion industry."

Saga Furs Asia team includes:

  • Nora Tse, head of marketing, Asia
  • Glenn Lam, key account manager
  • Spark Fang, communication manager, China
  • Errol Sheng, area representative, north China
  • Sunny Li, area representative, mid- and east China
  • Winnie Lam, marketing assistant

"Continuing plans will be refined according to market needs and we will add resources as needed," says Vesala, who is responsible for marketing operations in Asia.
