JOHNS CREEK, GA--(Marketwired - Jun 30, 2015) - Saia, Inc. (NASDAQ: SAIA) is pleased to announce that Juan Barroso has been named the Eastern division vice president of sales for Saia LTL Freight. In this position, Barroso will oversee both the field and national account sales functions.

Barroso began his career with Saia in 1992. As such, he has nearly 23 years of experience in transportation in both sales and operations. Most recently, he served as the company's corporate account executive, overseeing the yield management and growth of a number of Saia's key corporate accounts. During his time in this role, he was successful in improving both the service and profitability for these.
Barroso holds a business degree from Florida State University. He will continue to be based at Saia's headquarters in Johns Creek, Ga.
