Opened in April in Changzhou by Pierre-André de Chalendar, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Saint-Gobain and Javier Gimeno, General Delegate in Asia-Pacific, Saint-Gobain's first Multi-Comfort house in China provides visual, thermal and acoustic comfort along with indoor air quality.

The House used Saint-Gobain's best technologies and solutions for building energy efficiency and comfort. Open to the general public, this building is designed as a demonstration and experience center of new way of building (Environment, Safety, Cost efficiency/Productivity) and new way of living (Energy efficiency and Comprehensive Comfort).

It aims at raising the local population's awareness of sustainable construction, now one of the government's priorities as a result of the rapid growth in China's urbanization. As Pierre-André de Chalendar pointed out, 'this project underscores our ambition to show that people's comfort can go hand-in-hand with sustainability.'
