NOTA STAMPA

Milan, January 26, 2018 - Salini Impregilo is looking to hire 50 young Italian engineers to work in the United States.

'Salini Impregilo wants to share its vision of the future with young talent that will one day become our new managers,' says Pietro Salini, Chief Executive of Salini Impregilo, in announcing the launch of the second edition of 'Tomorrow's Builders', the Group's recruitment programme for new talent. After the success of the first edition that saw the hiring of 100 people in 2015, the latest edition will choose 50 Italian candidates for its projects in the United States. The programme, which involves training and other forms of professional development, is part of a wider strategy to expand, develop and consolidate the Group's operations in North America.

'We are following a tradition to develop human capital in Italy to build unique infrastructure in the more than 50 countries where Salini Impregilo is present,' says Salini. 'We want to make the most of the excellent academic training provided by Italian universities, to which we also contribute through the 'International Construction Management' master's programme that we offer in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano. We want this young talent to support our professionals in the field and help them create the infrastructure that we envision for the world. Entering Salini Impregilo means joining 35,000 people with highly specialized skills, a dynamic environment with a rich heritage of passion, know-how and experience. It means starting an international career in a country that has made infrastructure a priority. It will open the possibility to work in other countries afterwards, as well as raise the prospect of eventually returning to Italy to put to use the skills acquired abroad.'

Salini Impregilo, 55% of whose workforce is under the age of 35, offers young people the chance to develop as professionals by having them follow a structured path, getting them exposed to various functions, whether it be at a head office or a construction site. The intention is to have them one day become managers to lead the Group.

The second edition of the programme, 'Tomorrow's Builders USA', will offer the recruits the chance to train for an international career in a key market for the Group that is growing. They will be able to follow a professional path in an international context with the help of a training programme that will give them the skills to take on positions of responsibility in the world of public works. The qualifications required to apply for the second edition of the programme, 'Tomorrow's Builders USA', include a university degree in civil, mechanical or another relevant field of engineering, two years of work experience in public works and fluency in English.

'The hiring of young talent remains a strategic - and not tactical - priority for the company, a long-term process that is crucial for its development in the next 20 years,' says Salini. 'It is a strategy that confirms the company's pursuit of excellence by investing in human capital.'
