The battle of the smartest Smartphone has been upped following the launch of Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 into the Kenyan market.
The premium Smartphone, which will be retailing at Sh104,999, has been launched in Kenya, two months after its worldwide launch.
The company's Head of Mobile Division Bob Asiyo says that their newest release pushes the boundaries of phablets with its seamless hardware design and its new level of functionality and convenience.
The company also boasts of the Smartphone's water and dust resistant S-Pen, its 6.3 infinity display and the new dual-lens 12MP camera which they anticipate to set it aside from other players.
The device also packs 6GB of RAM and is powered by an advanced 10nm processor and 64GB internal memory.
"Due to the mobile demands associated with today's work-life balance, many Smartphone users require a phone that is suitable for both their personal and professional lives. Consequently, diverse and demanding tasks are being done on Smartphones, with the ability to effectively multitask on a single device becoming an essential requirement. The Galaxy Note8 offers this convenience," Asiyo said.
Samsung's Note edition hit the market in 2011, releasing Smartphones that build on each other's functionality.
