SBS has appointed Luc Peters as its Chief Operating Officer and he will join SBS's Management Board. Luc Peters will be responsible for operational policy and day-to-day implementation of the various strategic projects at SBS Broadcasting. In addition, he will head the business management of the programme department, which operates the channels SBS 6, Net5 and Veronica, and the digital platform KIJK. Peters will start in his new role immediately.

Luc Peters has been working as Operations Director for SBS Broadcasting for the past two years. In this role, he was head of the content acquisition teams and responsible for SBS's presenter and talent management. He previously held various roles at Eyeworks.

"I am convinced Luc will make a substantial contribution to SBS's operational policy thanks to his knowledge and experience. I am pleased he is joining the Management Board. Within SBS Luc will play an accelerated and unifying role in Sanoma, SBS and Talpa's various joint projects," says Peter de Mönnink SBS CEO.
