Germany promises Full Labor Market Mobility for Croatian Citizens

As of July 1st, 2015, Croatian citizens have full labor market mobility in Germany, so they do not need a work permit under any circumstances. Please see this link detailing the German government's decision.

Impact to Employers

Croatian Citizens can be included in the same relocation and immigration programs as all other EU-citizens.

Impact to Employees

Croatian Citizens do not have to apply for a work permit at the German Employment Agency (ZAV) anymore.
