This partnership further strengthens the Sybase 365 global footprint by extending IP Exchange (IPX) services to mobile operators in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Together with Zajil's state-of-the-art MPLS core network and Sybase 365's global IPX network, seamless LTE roaming services will be available, providing a better subscriber experience and increased cost savings for mobile operators.

LTE deployments have skyrocketed on a worldwide basis. According to Informa Telecoms & Media, LTE is commercial on 88 networks in 42 countries with approximately 140 total networks expected by the end of 2012. There are 10 live networks in seven countries in the Middle East & Africa, with more hoping to launch before the end of the year.*
