The report evaluated data integration products from SAP and recognized it as a leading provider based on its 'ability to execute' and 'completeness of vision.' This is the ninth consecutive year that SAP has been named a leader in the Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools.

'We believe that Gartner recognizes SAP's leadership in the data integration market due to our innovative and comprehensive enterprise information management (EIM) solutions that help our customers and partners thrive in the digital economy,' said Philip On, VP product marketing, SAP. 'Data is the fuel of any digital business, and SAP's mission is to help our customers achieve information excellence by delivering trusted, complete and relevant information.'

According to Gartner, 'It's not acceptable for architects or developers to use only postdeployment data resolution. The need for rapid data integration requires tools and platforms with increased ability to read, analyze and react to local and foreign metadata in a dynamic model with distributed processing capabilities.'

Recently announced product innovations in SAP® solutions for enterprise information management offer improved support for data coming from new cloud and Big Data environments, enhancements for more self-service capabilities, and comprehensive support for governing enterprise information. With the new versions of SAP HANA® smart data integration, SAP HANA smart data quality, the SAP Agile Data Preparation application, and SAP Data Services and SAP Information Steward software, customers and partners can better meet the data challenges of a digital enterprise.
