LONDON - SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced that Sir Richard Branson, whose Virgin empire has gone on to grow successful businesses in sectors including mobile telephony, travel and transportation, financial services, leisure and entertainment, and health and wellness, will be a keynote speaker at June's SuccessConnect in London, the premier event for human resources (HR) professionals.

The world's leading HR practitioners and influencers will gather at the ExCeL London convention center June 12-14 to explore the critical role human capital management (HCM) solutions and innovative technologies play in helping HR develop new ways of delivering HR services to a workforce that demands a digital experience. A key theme of this year's SuccessConnect will be how HR transformation is moving beyond automation into a digital approach - a digital HR transformation - and ways that HR practitioners can use digital technologies to transform the employee experience and realize the business benefits of this transformation. The event will also focus on how HCM solutions can help maximize each employee's unique potential and future-proof HR.

'One of the key reasons for hosting SuccessConnect annually is to provide a forum to share the views of leaders from across industries with our guests,' said Mike Ettling, president of SAP SuccessFactors.* 'Sir Richard Branson is one of the most singular voices in the business world. The enormous success of his companies is due to the fact that Richard has never lost sight of what truly drives a great company: its people. We invited him to join us to share his thoughts and experience that business success is derived by putting people first, and to inspire us all to champion our people every day.'

Branson's Virgin Group has created more than 400 companies over the years, and now Virgin companies employ 71,000 people in 35 countries. He is the only individual to build eight billion-dollar companies in eight different sectors. Virgin is routinely recognized among the best places to work in the world. Branson also is a committed philanthropist, having established Virgin Unite in 2004 to incubate and support many of the world's leading philanthropic organizations.

Sir Richard Branson's keynote will take place on Wednesday, June 14, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. GMT.
