NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. - SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced that it will create 392 new well-paying jobs in Pennsylvania and expand its operations in the Commonwealth with a new 122,274 square foot facility in Pittsburgh.

Over the next three years, SAP will create 242 jobs at its new Pittsburgh location and 150 jobs at its U.S. headquarters in Newtown Square, Delaware County. These full-time jobs will be in addition to the company's existing Pennsylvania-based workforce of 3,305 employees.

'We're proud to have called the Commonwealth home for nearly three decades, and we are excited to continue to expand in Pennsylvania as we grow our workforce and presence in the United States,' said Jennifer Morgan, president, SAP North America. 'Our partnership with the Commonwealth and the governor's office is a model for how the public sector and the business community can work together to drive innovation, grow the economy and create 21st century jobs in every community across our country. We look forward to continuing to grow and invest in the Commonwealth and in many other communities across the United States.'

The new facility in Pittsburgh will be constructed on the city's North Shore to accommodate future growth, improve operational efficiency and attract talent. It will serve as the headquarters for SAP Ariba* and will also support staff from across SAP and SAP SuccessFactors.*

Construction will be completed in 2018, with move-in planned by early 2019. The facility will accommodate 780 employees throughout five floors, with expansion rights for an additional floor to bring future capacity to 1,000 employees. The real estate developer is Continental Real Estate Companies, and SAP was advised on site selection by JLL.

The planned increase to SAP's workforce will provide the company with additional talent and resources to continue to pursue its mission of helping the world run better and improving people's lives.
