Savills, on behalf of international investors, has sold with vacant possession the Brady Maccabi building in Edgware, north London to an evangelical church for £2.5 million.

The building totals 15,880 sq ft (1,475 sq m) and is laid out across two buildings which are linked at ground floor level.  Built as a youth club in the late 1970s, it has consent for a variety of  community uses and has most recently been occupied by a careers and technical studies college.

Located on Manor Park Crescent, the property benefits from excellent transport links via Edgware Road underground station and close proximity to the Broadwalk Shopping Centre.

Gary Witham, hotel and institutional agency director at Savills, comments: "The Brady Maccabi building generated high levels of interest from both residential and institutional buyers, including faith groups, nurseries and other education groups.  We are very pleased with the strong sale price achieved for our client."

The purchaser was unrepresented.
