Savills has been appointed by The Works to advise on new acquisitions within the M25.

The family friendly discount store is looking for units ranging in size from 1,500 sq ft to 2,500 sq ft (139 sq m  to 232 sq m), with a minimum of 500 sq ft (46 sq m) of ancillary accommodation. The Works is considering prime high street and shopping centre locations within the M25 and is targeting locations such as Kingston, Camden, Wimbledon and Islington, as well as Central London.

Ben Chislett, retail director at Savills, comments: "The Works currently trade from over 300 stores in the UK, however its representation within the M25 is limited. There is fantastic scope to acquire 20 plus stores a year in this area and we are delighted to have been appointed to assist with its strategy.  The retailer will pay market rents and acquire long term leases, and has an excellent covenant with turnover in excess of £140 million in 2013/14."
