International real estate advisor Savills has expanded the team at its Birmingham office with four new appointments.

Katie Aitchison joins as a surveyor with the industrial agency team and will focus on the disposal, acquisition and development of industrial and distribution schemes within the Midlands.  She was formerly at BNP Paribas and has over four years' experience in commercial property, having spent the last two years specialising in the industrial and logistics market.

Emily Fionda, Hannah George and Emma Prowse have been appointed as graduate surveyors and will work with different departments on rotation over the coming months.  Hannah has completed a MSc in Real Estate Management at Birmingham City University, which Emily is currently studying for part time.  Emma is set to graduate from the University of Westminster with a MSc in Real Estate Development in November.

Barry Allen, head of office at Savills Birmingham, comments: "We are pleased to welcome four new recruits as we enter the last stage of a very busy and successful year.  Katie's expertise has allowed her to hit the ground running. The appointment of our three new graduate surveyors demonstrates our continuing commitment to our graduate programme. They are now working closely with our experienced teams to develop their skills and knowledge as they start out on their careers in property."

Savills was recently ranked 89th in The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers list and is the only real estate advisor ever to have received the honour.
