National wireless communication products and accessories firm, Benelec, has paid $2.7 million for an office/warehouse at Dandenong South in Melbourne's south-east in a deal brokered by Savills.

The 67 Assembly Drive building, speculatively built by local developer, Tabak Group, comprises a brand new 1,931 square metre building including a two level corporate office of 251 square metres and a high clearance, 1,680 square metre warehouse.

According to Savills Australia Senior Executive Industrial, Paul Jones, who brokered the deal with Sasan Misaghian, the property was chosen due its proximity to major arterial road networks and its highly functional design.

'The Tabak designed facility offered exceptional functionality and flexibility as well as excellent access to the best road transport infrastructure in the south-east,' Mr Jones said.

Positioned in the heart of Dandenong's industrial precinct, the location provides immediate access to the M1 Freeway, Princes Highway, Greens Road, EastLink and Westernport Highway.

Mr Jones said the Sydney based company, which has branches in several other states as well as the USA, was now expanding operations into Victoria.
