Savills Lincoln is to hold a farm machinery dispersal auction this Friday (24th March) at Whip Ridding Farm in Kirklington, Newark. The sale, which is being held on the instruction of M E Twidale & Sons, will include more than 80 well maintained lots.

The auction will take place following a change in farming policy and will include tractors, a self propelled sprayer, a range of trailers, cultivation equipment and machinery.

Richard Morley, food and farming consultant from Savills Lincoln says: 'This auction provides a rare opportunity to acquire a whole host of quality used farming equipment. The well maintained items for sale are a real credit to the partners of M E Twidale & Sons who are exploring other areas of activity following a change in farming policy.

'We have received a high volume of enquiries regarding this auction with calls from interested parties in locations as far away as Ireland and we are therefore anticipating good turnout on the day.'

The sale will commence at 12.30pm and will be held at Whip Ridding Farm, Kirklington, Newark NG22 8NZ. The lots can be viewed on Thursday 23rd March between 1pm and 4pm and on the morning of the sale from 9am. Alternative viewing arrangements are by prior telephone appointment only.
