An owner occupier in online business sales has paid circa $1,800 a square metre for an office/warehouse unit at Keysborough in Melbourne's south-east.

According to Savills Australia Senior Executive Industrial, Paul Jones, who brokered the deal, the speculatively built facility comprises an 800 square metre precast building with high clearance warehousing and a secure yard.

Mr Jones said the off-market/off the plan sale of the 149 Indian Drive building, the second in as many weeks in the popular Key Industrial Park, came just one month after the vendor had settled on the land.

He said the purchaser, currently in Dandenong South, had been in the market for a property within close proximity of EastLink and that offered a modern, operationally efficient building.

'The Key Industrial Park has been an exceptionally popular location for industrial owner-occupiers and its close proximity to EastLink has been a key consideration along with the availability of modern industrial buildings,' Mr Jones said.

The vendor was a private Melbourne based developer.
