Orion Capital Managers and Sovereign Centros has secured a deal with The Light Cinema as part of a new leisure-focussed extension at Trinity Walk, Wakefield.

The extension, which is due to be completed in 2018, will also feature six restaurant units ranging from 1,500 sq ft (139 sq m) to 9,063 sq ft (842 sq m), of which two are already under offer to national branded restaurants. A planning application is due to be submitted in Autumn 2016.
The nine-screen cinema is the 12th to be developed under The Light Cinema brand, which is one of the fastest growing cinema chains in the UK.

Located in Wakefield city centre, Trinity Walk offers 559,000 sq ft (51,931 sq m) of retail space and houses more than 60 top brands. It is anchored by Debenhams, Sainsbury's, H&M, Next and JD Sports, with an annual footfall in excess of 11 million and growing.
