Trustees of Central and Metropolitan Estates Retirement Benefits Scheme have let office space at Grosvenor House in Birmingham to Design2e, a specialist structural and civil engineering practice for design and build contractors, developers and architects. Savills represented the landlord in the deal.

The firm has agreed a new 10-year lease for 3,962 sq ft (368 sq m) on the sixth floor of the Grade II listed property. Other occupiers include Learndirect Ltd and Heritage Lottery Fund.

Grosvenor House is located on the corner of Bennetts Hill and New Street, close to New Street, Snow Hill and Moor Street stations. The 11-storey art deco style building features a total of 40,455 sq ft (3,758 sq m) of office space and an Ask Italian restaurant on the ground floor.

Sam Cooke of the office agency team at Savills comments: 'We are very pleased that Design2e has chosen Grosvenor House for its relocation from Cannock to the city centre. The property's well-connected location close to a wide range of amenities continues to have strong occupier appeal.'

Design2e was unrepresented.
