Savills Australia's Melbourne Valuation and Advisory Division has announced a recruiting coup with the appointment of two highly regarded valuations specialists, Trent Preece as Director and Anna Cavar as Senior Valuer.

Mr Preece, formerly of m3property, has more than a decade's experience in property valuations providing a range of investment and strategic advice, and over the past eight years has become an expert in the Melbourne CBD and metropolitan office markets.

His primary focus has been on property valuation services on major office and car park assets for listed property trusts, wholesale investment funds, superannuation and pension funds, major financial institutions, investment syndicates and private investors.

Ms Cavar, also formerly of m3property, has several years' experience working in the commercial and industrial sectors for a broad range of institutional clients.

Savills Victorian Director Valuation and Advisory, Joe Phegan, said the appointments would enhance Savills capacity to provide the most comprehensive service to existing and new clients.

'This is a real coup for Savills. Trent and Anna are exceptional new appointees who will hit the ground running as the business continues to grow with Melbourne's dynamic property market,' Mr Phegan said.

He said Mr Preece and Ms Cavar would specialise in the valuation of commercial office properties both within the CBD and across the metropolitan markets.

Both Mr Preece and Ms Cavar will be based at Savills 140 William Street headquarters.
