March 3, 2015, Moscow - Sberbank has launched a special deposit "Social" for children who have been deprived of parental care.

The deposit can be opened in the name of the child at Sberbank branches by his/her legal representative: a guardian/carer/social services employee. To do this he/she should provide the document issued by the social services agency regarding the establishment of guardianship, care, or accommodation of the child at social services facility.

"Supporting disadvantaged social groups is an important part of Sberbank's activities," commented Natalia Alymova, Director of Sberbank's Non-Transaction Retail Product Department. "The bank recognises its responsibility to clients and partners for carrying out social projects, including by offering special products that meet the needs of such clients."
