24 May 2018, Saint Petersburg - Sberbank has concluded a general cooperation agreement with Huawei. The document was signed by First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank Lev Khasis and CEO of Huawei Russia Aiden Wu at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

The subject of agreement is the supply of Huawei's IT equipment to Sberbank, including its Regional Banks and other structural divisions, equipment installation and configuration, as well as product maintenance within the warranty period. The general agreement has been concluded for two years.

In 2018, a memorandum that sets out new areas of cooperation was signed at the opening of Huawei OpenLab in Moscow. According to the document, Sberbank and the company are working together on innovations in the area of computer server chips and artificial intelligence (AI Transformation), as well as on the creation of an аgile space for Skolkovo Technopark.
