December 2, 2016, Moscow - Smart terminals of Sberbank and its subsidiary company Evotor are now available for corporate clients in all 908 offices of the bank. Earlier smart terminals were sold through Sberbank's network only in six regions of the country.

Smart terminals allow accepting cash, card payments, accepting goods and controlling inventories, analysing sales, providing discounts, and controlling work of their points of sales remotely through a personal account.

A cash box, a PIN pad for accepting cards and other peripheral devices can be connected to a smart terminal via its USB port. The cloud base of bar codes contains more than 1.5 mln items. When a businessman accepts a new product, they do not have to enter names and units of measurements - the smart terminal recognises it by its bar code and provides all the data on its own.

'The main particularity of the smart terminal is the possibility to expand functions due through the application shop,' said Mikhail Malakhov, Senior Managing Director, Director of Sberbank's Department for Developing Remote Service Channels. 'An entrepreneur can choose services needed for their business and buy appropriate software without paying for unnecessary functions. For instance, integration with various versions of 1C, data import from Excel and back, a goods recording system, an application for extended analysis of sales of point operations and other functions can be downloaded right now. We will continue to increase the number of such applications.'

'In 1.5 months the first stage of the reform starts. As part of this stage, it will be possible to report a cash register that matches the new procedure to the Federal Taxation Service. Together with providing small business with new equipment, it is necessary to tell entrepreneurs about the essence of the reform and its possibilities for business development. Partnership with Sberbank, which has a wide network of offices for working with business, makes these services more efficient. Together we help small business receive management instruments and tools to work with clients that were earlier available only to large business,' said CEO and shareholder of Evotor Andrei Romanenko.
