Acquisition of Business License of INESA-SBI Leasing (Shanghai) from the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone


SBI (China) Co., Ltd. ('SBI China'), a subsidiary and the China business management company of SBI Holdings, Inc. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Yoshitaka Kitao; 'SBIH'), hereby announces that INESA-SBI Leasing (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shanghai, Republic of China; 'INESA-SBI Leasing (Shanghai)'), a joint venture established with INESA (Group) Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shanghai, Republic of China; 'INESA') has obtained a business license from the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ). INESA-SBI Leasing (Shanghai) is scheduled to commence its business later this month.


INESA has been building ecological systems in smart cities, one of the focus areas of the information industry in recent years, and is engaged in the Chinese smart city projects in wide range of areas, such as smart transportation, housing, water resources, government, education and medical care. Since the ongoing leasing needs of the companies participating in smart city projects are expected in the future, INESA and SBI China decided to enter into the leasing business in China through INESA-SBI Leasing (Shanghai).
