In Q4 FY14, Schlumberger's pretax operating margin improved 13 basis points (bps) Y-o-Y to 22.0%. For the quarter, Schlumberger's income from continuing operations, excluding charges and credits stood at $1.94 billion, or $1.50 per diluted share, compared with $1.79 billion, or $1.35 per diluted share, in Q4 FY13. On January 15, 2015, Schlumberger's Board of Directors approved a 25% increase in the quarterly dividend from $0.40 per share of outstanding common stock to $0.50 per share, beginning with the dividend payable on April 10, 2015 to stockholders of record on February 11, 2015.
