[Nuremburg, 9 October 2015] secunet was delighted to welcome German State Secretary Klaus Vitt to its stand at it-sa 2015. The state secretary made his way to Nuremburg just a few days after taking up office at the Ministry of Interior. As the current State Secretary for IT and Administrative Modernisation, he visited secunet's stand to learn more about how secure communications products and secunet security solutions can be used to overcome the German government's present challenges.

The main theme of secunet's it-sa 2015 stand was CRITIS. Following the entry into force of the German IT Security Act, the operators of critical infrastructures (CRITIS) must now meet a number of new requirements. In particular, they must adapt their IT systems to meet the minimum standards in their respective industries.

At the IT security exhibition, secunet demonstrated how CRITIS operators can secure their networks in line with the IT Security Act, use a holistic IT security concept to establish tamper-proof connections between networks, and enable secure (mobile) remote access to sensitive IT areas like process control and automation systems.
