secunet at CeBIT 2014: Mobility and security go hand in hand

10.03.14

[Essen, 4 March 2014] secunet focusses on the security of mobile data at this year's CeBIT presentation. With high-quality encryption and high-performance modular security, mobile information and identities are also reliably protected against loss, espionage and theft. At CeBIT 2014 in Hanover, secunet will present its modern, ultra-mobile, high-security solutions from 10-14 March, in Hall 12, Stand B61.

SINA Tablet

secunet will exhibit the new SINA Tablet for the first time at the trade fair. With the tablet, users from companies and authorities will be both ultra-mobile and at the same time highly secure. The level of security achieved is a new step forward for tablet PCs. The SINA Tablet includes the same security mechanisms which are also used with the SINA Workstation Notebook, tried, tested and approved in a high-security environment. As with the other SINA Workstation workplaces approved by the Federal Office for Information Security, it offers all the advantages of multi-level and multi-session functionality. Furthermore, the system provides specific SINA applications, which enable, for example, secured IP telephony or Microsoft Lync video conferences.

Critical Infrastructure

Mobility is also increasingly in demand from operators of critical infrastructures (KRITIS). Products from the SINA family are the ideal solution for these customers: SINA Workstation, SINA BusinessBook and the new SINA Tablet fulfil all the KRITIS requirements in terms of security and mobility. At CeBIT, secunet will present examples of applications, showing how secure remote maintenance access and general access to process control units for a large German water supplier are implemented with SINA Technology.

Further SINA innovations

The SINA product family also impresses with its up-to-date software versions. As is clearly evident from the newly designed user interfaces, the variants are characterised by even more intuitive operation and new functions. Fittingly, SINA is also available on new hardware platforms, which will also be exhibited at the trade fair: from the SINA L2 Box S 50M compact, the hardware encryption solution for your desktop, right through to high-performance SINA products, SINA solutions will be on show at CeBIT.

Safe surfer

Secure "surfing" is a huge challenge for many companies and authorities. secunet safe surfer enables secure and convenient internet surfing at your work PC and functions according to the ReCoBS concept (Remote-Controlled Browsers System) with an upstream protective system.

secunet easygate

Rising numbers of passengers on international flights demonstrate that people are becoming increasingly mobile. Biometrics-supported border controls contribute to airports by designing airport processes to be more efficient and more pleasant for passengers. In this way, the automated border control solution secunet easygate significantly speeds up border control at arrivals and departures and also provides increased security. The secunet border control systems are characterised above all by their intuitive user navigation. At the airports in Frankfurt and Prague, the eGates are already in use and more will follow over the course of the year. On-site, visitors can test out the eGate solution from secunet and the Bundesdruckerei at the Bundesdruckerei stand in Hall 7, Stand C18.
