SEFE, Inc. (OTCBB: SEFE) ("SEFE") ("The Company"), a technology- and solutions-driven sustainability company, has provided a summary of its proprietary Balloon Launch Assist system and its role in the company's flagship Harmony III product.

The Balloon Launch Assist system covers the use of a secondary stabilizing balloon on top of the primary lift balloon. In basic terms, this invention allows the balloon -- technically known as an aerostat -- to be launched and retrieved in a simple manner, without a need for the extra manpower usually associated with the initial launch of a balloon. The secondary balloon provides upward lift and prevents the primary balloon from tipping over, ensuring stability during the critical stages of initial balloon deployment as well as during retrieval. The invention is currently in the patent application process with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; a patent-pending number has not yet been issued.

"Safety and efficiency are paramount as we build out the design of our Harmony III units," stated Mike Hurowitz, SEFE's Director of Engineering. "The Balloon Launch Assist accomplishes both, while minimizing the size of the team required to manage the operational procedures. And, of course, it fits into our overall intellectual property strategy, as the leaders in developing and bringing atmospheric energy to market."
