SEMGROUP CORPORATION TULSA, Okla.-May 29, 2015- SemGroup Corporation (NYSE: SEMG) is continuing to work with local emergency officials in response to a fire at our SemGas natural gas processing plant located in Sherman, Texas. The fire is currently contained and burning itself out, as is standard for natural gas fires.
Officials have reopened major highway and roadways in the area. Currently only transportation access in the immediate vicinity of the plant is still affected.
The fire was reported at approximately 10:30 AM CT, and resulted in no injuries. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
