Semtech Corporation (Nasdaq: SMTC), a leading supplier of analog and mixed-signal semiconductors, today announced it has successfully gone live with the implementation of its SAP® Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) system. This marks a significant milestone in the transition from the Company’s legacy systems to a highly-integrated, world class ERP solution.

This deployment was a multi-year program spanning all aspects of Semtech’s global footprint. With this platform, Semtech has transitioned away from 25 years of legacy systems and databases. As a result of the SAP implementation, the Company now expects to incur additional short-term operating expenses predominantly in the first half of its fiscal year 2016.

Semtech selected Bristlecone, Inc. as its implementation partner to leverage Bristlecone’s IP for Pre-Configured Semiconductor Solution (PSS). Bristlecone's PSS is a comprehensive, package-based solution, designed to quickly automate business processes enabling time-to-value solutions.

Commenting on the deployment, Emeka Chukwu, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Semtech Corporation stated, “We are pleased our SAP implementation is up and running. The Semtech and Bristlecone teams worked tirelessly together to deploy a world class solution using SAP’s proven platform. A robust and scalable platform is absolutely necessary for the Company to prepare for future growth and deliver operating efficiencies.”

Semtech management will address questions about its SAP implementation during its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2015 earnings conference call scheduled for 2:00 p.m. PT (5:00 p.m. ET) today, Wednesday, March 4, 2015. A live webcast of the call will be accessible at the Investor Relations section of the corporate website at www.semtech.com. A replay of the webcast will be available beginning approximately two hours after the conclusion of the call and be available through April 1, 2015.
