MELBOURNE April 3, 2012 - Senetas Corporation Limited (ASX:SEN), announced today that its Solutions Division had expanded to provide training and consulting services across Asia Pacific for organisations who have deployed or are about to implement xMatters.

Formerly AlarmPoint, xMatters is an independent company with recognised leadership in the software and service desk environments. Its technology, known as a reference engine, enables organisations to identify in a timely manner, problems, key components and the owner of issues that arise in comprehensive IT environments. A key feature of the xMatters relevance engines is their ability to deliver the right information to the right person at the right time so enterprises remain in control. But more than merely issuing notifications, xMatters helps businesses retain visibility into their entire process. For example, a major telecommunications business can send 18,000 targeted messages in just five minutes.

Senetas Solutions, which has provided professional enterprise consultancy services to business and government over the past 12 years, recently led an extensive xMatters training course on site for a utilities organisation in Singapore.

Senetas has a long-established reputation for the quality of its training in a range of enterprise software solutions and operates its own training facilities in Melbourne and Sydney, but also provides on-site training on request.

As the only third party organisation with advanced xMatters certification, Senetas CEO John DuBois said the company recognised an opportunity to expand its solutions footprint to cover the Asia Pacific region, in which it was already engaged with its encryption division, Senetas Security.

Following a restructure of the xMatters business in the region, Senetas became a training provider in October 2010. Senetas will work with other xMatters partners to provide a local training resource where required, Mr DuBois said.
