Servelec Corelogic, the leading provider of software solutions to the Social Care market, is pleased to announce the award of a major contract by Cambridgeshire County Council for up to seven years. Through competitive tender, the council has procured Servelec Corelogic's leading social care case management solution - Mosaic, and also its Corius Business Intelligence and portal solutions which will be implemented across the council's Adult, Finance and Children's services.

The growing desire amongst local authorities to create a 'single view' ensures that no adult, child or family slips through the gaps, and like many local authorities, Cambridgeshire County Council's ambition is to streamline their social care systems to provide a more consolidated knowledge base within the council.

Cambridgeshire County Council believes that IT will enable an efficient, effective service delivery to support Children's, Families and Adults and wider objectives across the council. Servelec Corelogic's social care case management solution, Mosaic, will support Cambridgeshire's ambitions to achieve an integrated system that delivers an effective and efficient service to its customers.

Together with the easy to use dashboards in Corius, the solution will help to give the 'big picture' and a clear view and understanding of what is happening to help practitioners make effective decisions swiftly - particularly where a number of multi-agency services are working together on cases such as in Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) groups.

Servelec's portal will provide a single point for citizens to access the council's social care information and advice; an empowering and self-service approach to enable people to plan and action their support needs.

Cambridgeshire County Council covers a large geographical area, much of which is rural, and this currently presents some challenges for its workforce in terms of travelling times, hence mobile working was identified as a fundamental requirement. Mosaic's mobile working technology will help to support the delivery of care and empower a much more flexible and efficient approach for Cambridgeshire's workforce.

Chris Rundell, Head of Information Management Service at Cambridgeshire County Council, said:

'Cambridgeshire has high expectations, and Mosaic won out in an extensive and challenging procurement process. We're looking forward to the benefits of multi-agency working, comprehensive individual and group case management and incisive management information. A reliable finance module will be equally vital with increasing personalisation, alongside the need for timely and accurate financial management information. In a diverse county like Cambridgeshire, we will be relying on the user self-service and flexible workforce functionality to deliver the best possible services in changing and challenging times.

The success of Mosaic is going to be crucial to the delivery of the council's priorities for the wellbeing of Cambridgeshire's population, including some of its most vulnerable groups, and we look forward to working with Servelec Corelogic to make this happen.'

Garry McCord, CEO at Servelec Corelogic, said:

'We are delighted that Servelec Corelogic has been awarded this major contract from Cambridgeshire County Council. Increasingly local authorities are developing multi-agency services where practitioners from a range of disciplines are working together and need access to a fully integrated solution; a system that provides key information at the right time is crucial in delivering an effective service.

The combination of Servelec's leading solutions - Mosaic, Corius and our portal offerings, will enable social care practitioners to make fully informed decisions as part of a collaborative support planning process, and ultimately help to deliver positive outcomes for service users. We look forward to our new partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council and to supporting the council in delivering its ambitions.'
