SGS SA Chemical and microbiological risks were the root cause of recalls in the USA and EU during the last quarter.
In the USA, three different cosmetic products were recalled - all for microbiological risks. In the EU, nine cosmetics, personal care and household (CPCH) products were recalled in Q3 of 2017, compared to Q2. The main risks identified were chemical and the risk of burning.
