SGS has published the latest edition of its EEC Newsletter. This informative newsletter advises and guides consumer goods manufacturers and importers through the numerous country specific type-approval schemes.

Increasing globalization has seen more and more countries and regions set up their own type-approval systems. Due to this, the newsletter reports on recent international changes to wireless, safety, energy efficiency and EMC type approval, as well as reporting on the latest product recalls issued under the EU RAPEX scheme and by the US CPSC.

In addition, the April edition also looks at SGS's Chinese EE product seminars, part of SGS's commitment to keeping manufacturers and industry operatives informed on all aspects of national and international regulation and certification for EE products.
