Established in 1990, SGS's consumer and retail services laboratory in Bradford, UK, is one of the leading toy testing and quality assurance centers in Europe.
ISO 17025 accredited for a range of services by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), this facility is also a member of the Baby Products Association (BPA), and the Cosmetic, Toiletry & Perfumery Association (CTPA). This laboratory is also a critical location for our role as a Notified Body (NB) for personal protective equipment (PPE) testing and certification.

In 2008, this laboratory became the first outside France to be approved to test to the French Childcare Article decree No 91-1292 of December 20, 1991. Our team offers a complete testing service and clients are provided with reports in both English and French. In association with colleagues in France we offer a full support service, should that be required.
