SGS, a leading life sciences, pharmaceutical, clinical and bioanalytical contract solutions provider, today announced that it had been recognized across five categories in the annual Contract Research Organization (CRO) Leadership Awards - Capabilities, Compatibility, Expertise, Quality, and Reliability.

The company also won Individual Attribute Awards in Data Quality, Meeting Overall Project Timelines, Technology for Access to Data, Operational Excellence, and Responsiveness.

Ed Miseta, Executive Editor of the Awards' joint organizer, Life Science Leader, commented: 'Life Science Leader is proud to be working with ISR Reports to honor those CROs that have proven themselves to be the top performers in Compatibility, Capabilities, Expertise, Quality, Reliability, and Phase IV. The winners were decided by looking at 20+ different performance metrics, as rated by decision-making executives at biopharmaceutical companies. The CROs receiving an award this year are truly at the top of their class, and are deserving of the recognition they receive. Being a top performer in any of these categories shows a level of expertise and commitment to clinical trials and serving the needs of biopharmaceutical companies and their patients.'

'We are honored to be recognized by our industry peers and customers in the CRO Leadership Awards,' commented Johan Pype, Managing Director, SGS Benelux. He added: 'These awards are particularly pleasing because recipients are only evaluated by the customers they have actually worked with and this is the second year in a row we have received recognition.'
