SGS : Risk Based Evaluation Can Help E&E Industry Meet REACH SVHC Rules

As electrical and electronic products become ever more complex, the industry faces a huge challenge in compliance with an increasingly demanding legal framework for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC).

Today's challenge to electrical and electronic (E&E) products companies lies in the growing complexity of products coupled with an ever-increasing Candidate List of SVHC articles which, since 2008, has increased to 183.
