Global travel provider, W2M, has selected SGS for a major health and safety project to audit the safety and risk management of all its suppliers.

On January 18th, 2017, the three-year agreement was formalized at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR), attended by several W2M executives - Patricia Rosselló, Chief Operations Officer, Mark Nueschen, Chief Commercial Officer and Jorge Carbo, Head of Global Operations. SGS was represented by Peter Hvidberg, Global Head of Travel and Hospitality, Joaquín Muñoz, General Manager and Álvaro Rodriguez de Roa, Deputy Manager.

SGS will help W2M to implement a robust risk management system. The scope of the project involves the auditing and classification of all W2M's commercial suppliers, and SGS will assess security and risk management compliance.

W2M's Chief Operations Officer, Patricia Rosselló said: 'The implementation of this risk management system demonstrates W2M's commitment to the safety of our clients and suppliers.'

Mark Nueschen added: 'With this system, we take a further step towards strengthening commercial relations with our customers.'
